I've been gathering flowers on the hillside, to wreath around your brow

The first few photos in this bunch were taken while driving from Graysontown, VA to Hiwassee, Va and then down to Hillsville. The last three were taken near Damascus and Mt. City, TN. A polaroid camera I bought just arrived in the mail today, and I'm excited to start using it. I--and probably most other photographers--think differently depending on the kind of camera i'm using, and I haven't really used a polaroid much. I don't have a scanner, but if RU has a good scanner in the library, I hope to be able to scan the photos from the polaroid onto the blog. Lordsawillin' and the creek don't rise, I'll have some posted next week.

I've been lazy with comments recently, but I keep coming back to your photo with the flowers and antlers and I feel compelled to say something about it. It has a different feel to it than many of your other photographs. I feel more in the photo, if that makes sense. I like it.
